About the Red Ribbon/HAARSS B.C.S.
The Red Awareness Ribbon is commonly used to represent the fight against HIV/AIDS with the hopes in finding a cure. It also has an early history of representing drug abuse and prevention, love, heart disease, stroke, hypertension, and more. Red ribbons are also traditionally used in state and county fairs to award a first place honor for competitions in the U.S. and Canada.
